I have taught beatmaking and music production for K-12 and university classes.  I founded Beats & Bars to take what I was doing inside the classroom and expand upon and present it outside the classroom.  Beats & Bars is a "Sip and Sample" beatmaking party designed to cultivate community through the creative expression and collaborative engagement of music.  I will guide you with step-by-step instructions how to make your own beat without any prior musical training or experience while combining the fun of a party and the challenge of a class.  You can "mix beats with mixed drinks".
