Rick Johnson, professionally known as Louric Oshay, is a DMV-native music creator, educator, & entrepreneur, based in Nashville, TN.  Oshay was most recently 1 of 4 engineers selected as part of the Fall 2019 Creatives Day residency at the Writer’s Room Studios at the Hutton Hotel in Nashville, TN.  As a state of Tennessee licensed educator, Oshay is a 2-time Starr Award recipient, which is awarded to teachers to fund academy-related projects.  He has competed in several beat battles and producer showcases, such as Dynamic Producer’s Beat Royale, iStandard’s Beat Camp, and Nashville Beat Battle.  Oshay can currently be heard on the latest episode of the Faders Up podcast.
